Updating a deployed widget with the latest version

  1. On the Pages > Drafts page, locate your widget.
  2. Edit the widget.
  3. Publish the widget.
    1. In the Publish Page dialog box, select the release type.
    2. Optionally, in the Release notes field, provide a description of the changes that are included in the updated version.
    3. Optionally, select the Deploy this version to Portal catalog check box.
    4. Click Publish.
  4. On the Pages > Published page, locate your project.
    Your project must have the Update available button.
  5. Click Update available.
  6. In the Update Page dialog box, view the current version and latest version assigned to the widget.
  7. Optionally, select the Deploy this version to catalog check box.
  8. Click Update.
    The Update available button is removed.
Note: If you do not select the Deploy this version to catalog check box, the updates will not apply to the widget that is displayed in the OS Portal Widget Catalog or the widget that is deployed into a workspace. To deploy the updates to your published widget, in the Actions menu of your project, select .
