Creating a Simple List widget

  1. On the Pages > Drafts page, click New.
  2. On the Select Template page, select Simple List Widget.
  3. In the Configure Page > Template Settings section, select the elements to add to the widget.
    1. In the Widget section, specify the title and the subtitle.
    2. In the List > Enable search field, switch on this option to show the Search field.
    3. In the Label > Show component field, switch on this option to show the label component.
    4. In the Hyperlink > Show component field, switch on this option to show the hyperlink component.
    5. In the Image sections, specify this information.
      Show component
      Switch on this option to show the image component.
      Initials
      Switch on this option to show the initials.
    6. In the Badge > Show component field, switch on this option to show the badge component.
    7. In the Icon > Show component field, switch on this option to show the icon component.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Specify the page properties and assign data services.
  6. Click Next.
  7. On the New Page page, perform these steps:
    1. In the Elements section, select a list element.
    2. In the Data Properties section, select the bound property.
      Optionally, change the bound property value.
    3. For hyperlink components, configure the hyperlink attribute to define a drillback action or to use a static name.
    4. For badge component, change the style of the badges based on the specified criteria.
    5. For icon component, select the type of icon to use for a specified range of values.
    6. In the Elements section, select List.
    7. Optionally, in the Attributes section, change the settings.
    8. In the Context Message section, set up the context message for the receiving component, sending component, or both.
  8. Click Finish.
  9. Optionally, in the Page Saved dialog box, select the Deploy this version to Portal catalog check box.
  10. Click Publish or Later.

If you publish the widget, the widget is automatically added to the list of projects on the Published page. If you select the deploy option, the widget is directly deployed to the Widget Catalog.
