Replacing a deployed widget with a new version

  1. On the Pages > Drafts page, locate your widget.
  2. Edit the widget.
  3. Publish the widget.
    1. In the Publish Page dialog box, select the release type.
    2. Click Publish.
  4. On the Pages > Published page, locate your project.
  5. Click Update Available.
  6. In the Update Page dialog box, specify this information:
    Current Version
    This field is disabled. This field shows the latest version assigned to the widget.
    Latest Version
    This field is disabled. This field shows the new version assigned to the widget.
    Deploy this version to catalog
    Click this check box to deploy the latest version to the Widget Catalog.
  7. Click Update.
    Note: If you do not click Deploy this version to catalog check box, a warning icon is displayed in the widget. This icon means that the deployed version of the widget does not match the published version. To deploy the updates to your published widget, in the Actions menu of your project, select Update.
The changes are automatically applied to the widgets that are displayed in the OS Portal Widget Catalog and to the widgets that are deployed into a workspace.
