Creating a widget

  1. On the Pages > Drafts page, click + New Page.
  2. On Select Template, select the template to use.
  3. On Configure Page, select the elements to add to the widget.
  4. Click Next.
  5. On Define Page Properties, specify the name of the widget, a description, and assign tags.
  6. Click Next.
  7. On Select Data Service, search for the data service from which to retrieve data, then click the corresponding Add (+) icon.
  8. Click Next.
  9. On New Page, perform these steps:
    1. Select the data properties, elements, and strings to assign to each element.
    2. To return to previous steps, click the list icon.
    3. Select from these options:
      • Edit Page Properties: Select this option to change the project name, description, and assigned tags.
      • Page Attributes: Select this option to change the selected elements.
      • Translatable Strings: Select this option to change the selected translatable strings.
      • Change Data Services: Select this option to change the selected data services.
    4. Modify the widget content.
    Note: To adjust the size of the widget in the preview, click the size buttons.
  10. Click Finish.

On the Drafts page, the new widget is automatically added to the list of projects.
