Setting My Inventory Transaction Defaults in Android

  1. On the RAD Home page, tap the More Options button.
    The RAD sidebar panel is displayed.
  2. Tap Settings.
    The RAD Settings page is displayed.
  3. Tap My Inventory Transaction Defaults.
    The My Inventory Transaction Defaults page is displayed.
    Note: All the set default locations and printers in the handheld will be the default even if there are set default locations and printers in the server.
  4. To set Default Inventory Location:
    1. Tap Default Inventory Location.
    2. On the Change Company and Location page, tap More Options and select Change Company.
    3. Perform these tasks on the Change Company page:
      1. Tap the company from the list.
      2. Optionally, search for a company by specifying the company details on the search field. Tap the company you searched for.
    4. On the Change Company and Location screen, tap Default Inventory Location.
    5. Perform these steps on the Change Location page:
      1. Tap the location from the list.
      2. Optionally, search for a location by specifying the location details on the search field. Tap the location you searched for.
    6. Tap Back button or Android back button.
  5. To set Default Requesting Location:
    1. Tap Default Requesting Location.
      Note: The Default Requesting Location is disabled until a Default Inventory Location is set.
    2. On the Change Company and Location page, tap More Options and select Change Company.
    3. Perform these tasks on the Change Company page:
      1. Tap the company from the list.
      2. Optionally, search for a company by specifying the company details on the search field. Tap the company you searched for.
    4. On the Change Company and Location screen, tap Default Requesting Location.
    5. Perform these tasks on the Change Location page:
      1. Tap the location from the list.
      2. Optionally, search for a location by specifying the location details on the search field. Tap the location you searched for.
  6. To set Stock To Inventory Location:
    1. Tap Default Stock To Location.
    2. On the Change Company and Location page, tap More Options and select Change Company.
    3. Perform these steps on the Change Company page:
      1. Tap the company from the list.
      2. Optionally, search for a company by specifying the company details on the search field. Tap the company you searched for.
    4. On the Change Company and Location screen, tap Default Stock To Location.
    5. Perform these steps on the Change Location page:
      1. Tap the location from the list.
      2. Optionally, search for a location by specifying the location details on the search field. Tap the location you searched for.
  7. To set a Default Report Printer:
    1. Tap Default Report Printer.
      Note: Default Report Printer is disabled by default if Default Inventory Location is not set.
    2. Perform these steps on the Select Printer page:
      1. Tap the printer from the list.
      2. Optionally, search for a printer by specifying the printer details on the search field. Tap the printer you searched for.
  8. Tap Back button or Android back button.
