Finding a patient from the desktop
- On the Patient field, click the Search button to display the Find Patient pop-up screen.
 - Narrow down your search by specifying this information:
           
- Admission Date
 - 
              
Specify the patient's admission date range. An approximate date range may be entered if the exact date of admission is unknown.
 
- Last Name
 - 
              
Specify the patient's last name.
 - First Name
 - 
              
Specify the patient's first name.
 - Patient ID
 - 
              
Specify the patient's identification number.
 - Date of Birth
 - 
              
Specify the patient's date of birth.
 
 - Click Search to display the records based on parameters.
 - In the list, select the patient and click Add.
           
The patient ID, Patient Name, Birth date, Account Number and Patient Class are populated when adding a new case.
