Adding a procedure template
- Select Point of Use for Department Inventory > Configuration.
 - Select the Procedure Template tab.
           
The Procedure Template is displayed.
 - Click the Add button.
 - Specify this information:
           
- Company
 - 
              
Select the company that you want to associate with the procedure template.
 - Facility
 - 
              
Select a facility you want to identify with the procedure template.
 - Procedure Template Name
 - 
              
Specify a procedure template name to properly identify the procedure template.
 - Charge Code
 - 
              
Specify the charge code for the specific service that you want to add for the specific procedure template.
The Description and the CPT code is automatically populated.
Note: The Charge Code is automatically created in uppercase characters. - Active
 - 
              
Set the procedure template as active by selecting the check box.
Clear the check box if the procedure template is inactive.
 
- Practitioner
 - 
              
Optional. Select the name of the practitioner.
 
 - Save your changes.
 - Click Cancel to return to the previous page.
