Processing Putaway using the handheld

  1. On the PO main screen, select the ellipsis then click Putaway. By default, users with assigned location access can view the company and the stock location.
  2. Select the ellipsis to edit the company and inventory location, assign status, sort, and select all.
  3. Select the Putaway check box.
    Note: Scanning the barcode on MSCM delivery documents for both label and report can be done here. The barcode can also be scanned after the delivery process has been completed.
  4. Click Download.
  5. Select Putaway to start the process. Scanning a barcode can only be performed to begin.
  6. When the item is placed in location select complete and continue.
    Note: If configured, the Putaway All button will complete this step for all lines associated to putaway. A warning message will appear if the validation item configuration is enabled.
  7. Click Done when putaway is complete.
  8. Click the Send button or the paper plane icon to send information. Selecting the ellipsis then Send All will send all the completed putaways.
    Note: The Inspection and Putaway processes cannot be performed simultaneously. A warning message will be displayed.
