Deleting manifests

Use the following procedure to delete a manifest that may have been created erroneously.

  1. Access Delivery from the Receiving and Delivery menu.
  2. Select Delivery > Delete Manifest.

    The Search for Manifest to Delete page is displayed.

  3. Specify this information:
    Manifest ID

    Specify the manifest ID.

    Manifest Name

    Specify the manifest name.

    Creation Date From

    If you know the creation date or a range of dates in which it might have been created, specify the from date.

    Creation Date To

    If you know the creation date or a range of dates in which it might have been created, specify the to date.

  4. Click the Advanced Search link to use these additional search criteria:
    Tracking

    Specify a tracking number to search for multiple delivery line IDs. The delivery line ID is the unique identifier for a distribution line.

    Carrier Tracking

    Specify a carrier tracking number to search for multiple carrier tracking numbers.

    PO Number

    Specify a PO number to search for multiple PO numbers.

    Shipment Number

    Specify a shipment number to search for multiple shipment numbers.

    Vendor Name

    Specify the vendor.

    Delivery Locations

    You can select multiple delivery locations that are non-sequential using a search function. Only locations to which you have access are visible.

    The default is all locations.

    Delivery Unit Type

    Select the delivery unit type.

    Created By

    Select the user ID for the creator of the manifest. The default is all users.

  5. Click Search.

    The Select Manifest to Delete page is displayed.

  6. Click Delete in the row of the manifest that you want to delete.

    A Delete Manifest confirmation message is displayed.

    After you delete the manifest, all of the manifest data is still available for reporting. The distribution line data, including delivery notes and events, are not deleted or canceled when a manifest is deleted.

  7. Click OK.
