Visit number

A visit number is a number that identifies a patient’s visit. It is assigned every time a patient is admitted to the hospital. The Patient ID identifies the patient while the Visit Number identifies each of the patient’s hospital stay.

The Visit Number field is disabled when floor charge is selected.
