Different types of return

These are the three types of return recognized by the Point of Use for Nursing application:

• Return with credit – Item is returned to supply location where it was pulled from and item charge is deducted from the patient’s bill.

• Return without credit – Item is returned to supply location where it was pulled from, but item charge is not deducted from the patient’s bill.

• Credit only– Item charge is deducted from the patient’s bill but the item is not returned to supply location due to damage or contamination.
