Recording charge information from the desktop
- Under Point of Use for Nursing in the left navigation bar, select Pull and Return.
- Select Pull. The Enter Charge Header page is displayed.

Select a company.
The Company lists all companies that have at least one supply location that user has access to.

To define the patient charge information, specify this information:
- Charge Date

Specify the date when item is pulled.
Note: Charge date cannot be before the patient’s admission date and after the discharge date. - Visit Number

Populate a patient's visit number by scanning the patient’s visit number barcode or manually adding it.
Visit Number is no longer unique to the patient; two or more patients can have the same visit number.
Note: Make sure that the visit number is assigned to the facility that you have access to.Click the Search button beside the Visit Number field to perform a Visit Number search. For more information, see Finding a visit number from the desktop
- Supply Location

Specify a supply location by scanning the supply location barcode.
Note: Locations selected can either be one stock location or multiple par locations.Note: The Location ID is automatically created in uppercase characters.Click the Search button beside the Supply Location field to perform a Supply Location search. For more information, see Searching for locations from the desktop
- Requesting Company

Select the requesting company.
Note: This field is required if the item is being pulled from a stock location.This field is disabled when the selected supply location is a par location.
- Requesting Location

Select the requesting location.
Note: This field is required If the item is being pulled from a stock location.This field is disabled when the selected supply location is a par location.
- Revenue Center

Select the revenue center.
Note: Select Floor Charge if the items will not be charged to a patient. - Click Enter Items. The Enter Charge Item page is displayed.
