Adding locations from procurement
- Select Location Management in the Administration menu.

Select Locations and click Add Location from the Procurement tab.
The Search for a Procurement Location to Add to Mobile SCM page is displayed.

Specify this information:
- Company
-
Select the company where you want to add the location.
- Location ID
-
Specify the ID for the location.
Note: The Location ID is created in uppercase characters. - Location Description
-
Specify a brief description of the location.

Click Search to display all the Procurement locations
that fit your search criteria.
The Select Procurement Location to Add to Mobile SCM page is displayed.

Click Add to Mobile SCM to the right of the location
you want to add to the application server.
The Add Procurement Location to Mobile SCM page is displayed.

Specify this information on the Add Procurement
Location to Mobile SCM page.

Automatically selected if location is a FSM or Infor Lawson Par Location. Used in Pull, Return module.
- Stock

Select this check box if the location will be used as a stock location. Used in Pull, Return module.
- Supply for Nursing

Select this check box if the location will be used as a supply location. Used in Pull, Return module.
- Stock for Department Inventory
-
Select this check box if the location will be used as a stock location. This is used for replenishment of stock-replenished items.
Note: Once tagged as a Stock for Department Inventory location, the Supply for Department Inventory is disabled. - Requesting for Department Inventory

Select this check box if the location will be used as a requesting location. This is used for replenishment of vendor-replenished and special items.
Note: This location can also be tagged as Supply for Department Inventory. - Supply for Department Inventory

Select this check box if the location will be used as a supply location. Used in Case and Replenishment Management module.
RAD
- Deliver To

Automatically selected if location is a FSM or Infor Lawson Requesting Location. Used in Delivery module.
- Receiving and Delivery Transfer

Select this check box if the location will be used as a receiving and delivery transfer location. Used in Delivery module.
- Receiving, Ship To

Select this check box if the location will be used as a receiving location for Dock Logging, PO Receiving and Miscellaneous Receiving. This is also the Ship To location defined in FSM or Infor Lawson Purchase Order.
- Requesting

Automatically selected if location is a FSM or Infor Lawson Requesting Location. Used in Issues and Picking modules.
- Stock
-
Select this check box if the location will be used as a stock location. Used in Issues and Picking modules.
MPC
- Par

Automatically selected if location is a FSM or Infor Lawson Par Location. Used in Par Counting module.
- Pick for Par

Select this check box if the location will be used as a pick for par location. Used in Pick for Par module.
- Stock

Select this check box if the location will be used as a stock location. Used in Cycle Count and Pick for Par modules.
SIM
- Assembly

Select this check box if the location is where tray assembly occurs. Locations with the Assembly Activity are available for the tray assembly process.
- Case Cart Pick

Select this check box if the location is where case cart picking occurs. Locations with the Case Cart Picking Activity are available for case cart picking processes.
- Decontamination
-
Select this check box if the location is where decontamination takes place. Locations with the Decontamination Activity are available for decontamination processes.
- Instrument Source
-
Select this check box if the location serves as the location for the overall management of items and trays. In order for an SPD staff to use items and/or tray lists, the items and/or tray lists are associated to an instrument source location. Typically, the main SPD area is the instrument source.
- Storage
-
Select this check box if the location is where trays are stored. Locations with the Storage Activity are available for selection as a tray’s default storage location and are also available for the transfer function.
- Transfer
-
Select this check box if the location is where transfer processes occur. Locations with the Transfer Activity are available for transfer processes, such as transferring trays or case carts. Examples of transfer locations are case cart staging areas, holding areas in the OR, and repair locations.
- Click Save. The Add New Location confirmation page is displayed with the new location information.
- Click the Print button to print a bar coded label for the location.
- To add another location, click Search Another and follow the preceding steps. Click Cancel to go back to search page.
