Setting the operation mode in the handheld

The Operation Mode sets how the handheld will operate. It can be activated by navigating to the Op. Mode tab and selecting any of these modes:

• Radio Frequency (RF) - The handheld will only transmit data to and from the MSCM server through a radio frequency signal.

• Cradle Based - The handheld will cue up all transactional data and upload it to MSCM when cradled. It does not communicate through RF.

• Both - Both RF and Cradle based modes will work.
