Acquiring MSCM SSL certificate

Note: The MSCM SSL certificate is unique per WAS profile. HTTPS in HH supports MSCM in WebSphere only.
  1. On a desktop browser, specify the url of the application server and the path to the handheld files.

    Format: https://<hostname>:<secured port>/hh

    For example: https://lawson17:8080/hh

  2. Click on Security Report or Security Lock icon.
  3. Click View Certificates.
  4. Under Details tab, click Copy to File.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Specify the filename with CER file extension (.cer).
    Note: Filename should be the same as the host name to be used on MSCM handheld.
  7. Click Next then Finish.
  8. Go to the file path where the SSL certificate file was saved.
