Kiosk mode

Kiosk mode is a feature that you use to run only the Mobile Supply Chain Management modules (MPC and RAD) on a handheld device. The Kiosk mode provides a method where you can use the handheld as a single-function device instead of a multiple-purpose device, as it was originally designed.

The handheld device contains these features if Kiosk mode is activated:

• The Start menu on the handheld device is disabled to prevent users from switching to other applications.

• The Mobile Supply Chain Management application is automatically started after a soft-reset of the application.

• Users cannot exit the Mobile Supply Chain Management application.
