Configuring cycle counting

Use this procedure to configure how users use the cycle counting functions on the handheld application.

  1. Select Cycle Counting in the Par and Cycle Counting menu.
  2. Select Configuration under Cycle Counting. The Cycle Counting Configuration page is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    Blind Counting

    Select one of these options.

    • Yes – The handheld application does not display the freeze quantity during counting.

    • No – The handheld application displays the freeze quantity during counting.

    Validate Count against Freeze Qty.

    Select Yes or No to validate cycle counts against the freeze quantity. Freeze quantity is the count quantity that exists in the Par and Cycle Counting module.

    Note: You can select Yes only if the Blind Counting option is set to Yes.
  4. Click Save to update the configuration.
