Confirming deliveries

  1. Start the delivery process as described in Processing deliveries, or, if you are confirming a delivery from a distribution line screen, see Process distribution lines.
  2. Tap C.
    The Delivery Verification screen is displayed.
    Note: 

    This screen may appear different if your administrator configured the handheld application not to display certain fields.

  3. Specify this information:
    Employee ID

    Specify the employee ID of the delivery recipient.

    First Name

    Specify the first name of the delivery recipient.

    Last Name

    Specify last name of the delivery recipient.

    Electronic Signature

    The delivery recipient signs to verify that you delivered the packages.

    Package Count

    Specify the number of packages delivered.

    Note: When Badge Scan feature is used, scanning a customer badge will only populate the Employee ID field. Using the MSCM Employee ID label will populate the Employee ID, First Name, and Last Name when scanned.
  4. Tap Confirm to record the delivery events and return to the Delivery Unit screen.
    Note: The first name and last name should not be set to Required to use the badge scan configuration. Those details will be identified by the system when submitting the delivery information. If set to Required, this will have a conflict with the configurations. This should be set to display only.

    If the first name and last name cannot be found in the recipient table,the employee ID will be identified from the employee table instead.
