Processing inventory adjustments in Android

Note: In order to access Inventory Adjustments on the Android handheld, the user must have the corresponding role assigned to them in User Management on the Web Application. Make sure the role Issues - Inventory Adjustments Handheld is assigned in order to gain access to Inventory Adjustments.
  1. On the RAD Home page, tap the More Options button. The RAD sidebar panel is displayed.
  2. Tap Inventory Transactions. The Inventory Transactions screen is displayed.
  3. Select Inventory Adjustment in the Inventory Transaction field.
    1. Tap the Select Inventory Transaction field.
    2. Tap Inventory Adjustment.
  4. Update the company through the Select Company field:
    1. Tap the Select Company field.
    2. Tap the company from the list.
  5. Update the location through the Select Location field:
    1. Tap the Select Location field.
    2. Tap the location from the list.
      Note: Scanning of locations is allowed.
  6. Update the printer through the Select Printer field:
    1. Tap the Select Printer field.
    2. Tap the printer from the list.
  7. Tap NEXT to proceed to the Inventory Adjustment page.
  8. On the Item field, tap Select Item. The Select Item screen is displayed.
    Note: Scanning Items is allowed. If the item is lot, serial or Bin tracked, then an additional field is displayed accordingly.
  9. To select an item:
    1. Tap the item from the list.
    2. Optionally, search for an item by specifying the item details on the search field. Tap the item you searched for.
  10. If the item has multiple valid UOMs, click the UOM drop-down to identify the UOM to be used for the adjustment transaction. The list of valid UOMs is from the Item Location UOM or the Item Master UOM depending on the setup at the backoffice.
  11. Before SOH is the current Stock on Hand of the item. Specify the new quantity in the New Quantity field.

    If the item is UDI tracked at receipt, click the UDI button and specify this information:

    UDI
    The specified UDI details is displayed.
    GTIN
    Specify or scan the GTIN of the item. This is a required field.
    Bin
    Select a bin. The default bin is the bin specified from the Item Details screen.
    Lot
    Specify or scan a lot number. This is required if the item is lot tracked at receipt or if the Expiration Date is filled.
    Serial
    Specify or scan serial number. This is required if the item is serial tracked at receipt.
    Mfg. Date
    Specify or scan a manufacturing date. This value cannot be greater than the current date.
    Exp. Date
    Specify or scan an expiration date. This value cannot be less than the current date.

    Tap ADJUST to set the After SOH which will become the new Stock on Hand.

    Note: 
    • To adjust the same Serial or Lot tracked item multiple times at once, select the Split QTY button on the right-hand side after specifying a New Quantity. If you need to delete an item from the list, tap Delete. The UDI button will be available per line in the Split QTY screen if the item is UDI tracked at receipt.
    • Scan or select another item to adjust multiple items in the same transaction at the item details screen. Tap the Next and Previous buttons or swipe to navigate between items at the item details screen.
  12. Tap Done.
    Note: Tap an item to be taken back to that item’s given inventory adjustment item detail screen.
  13. Optionally, select the More Options button to change the Report Printer:
    1. Tap Change Printer. The Select Printer page is displayed.
    2. Select the printer:
      1. Tap the printer from the list.
      2. Optionally, search for a printer by specifying the printer details on the search field. Tap the printer you searched for.
  14. Tap Send.
    Note: The inventory adjustments ticket is printed according to the configured report printer selected.
