Finding a procedure from the handheld

  1. Find the case to add a procedure to by using the Search function.

  2. From the list of available cases displayed in the Select Case screen, tap the case you want to add a procedure and tap Next.
  3. In the Add Item screen, tap the procedure field. The Procedures screen is displayed.
  4. In the Procedures screen, tap add new procedure. The Add New Procedure is displayed.
  5. In the Procedure field, specify the charge code or procedure description or CPT code or click the search icon to display the list of procedures.

    The search function shows matching entries when charge code or procedure description or CPT code is specified.

  6. In the list of procedures, select a procedure and tap OK.

    The selected procedure is now added to the list of available procedures of the case.

    CPT modifiers can be added to the procedures.
