Reviewing a case for billing in Point of Use for Department Inventory

Note: You should have the POU DI - Desktop - Case and POU DI - Review - Case role to perform this task.
  1. Find the case that you want to review and send to billing by using the search function.

  2. In the list of cases, click the case that you want to review to open it.
  3. Click Billing Review.
  4. Click the charge procedure icon to charge a procedure.
    A new line is displayed.
    Note: For the replaced Infor item or a replacement of a special item to be included in Billing, associate this item to a location that is used in the case.

    Note: Click the corresponding delete icon to delete the new line.

    Click "Charge all Procedures" link to charge all chargeable procedures included in the case. This function is not allowed for non-chargeable and previously charged procedures.

    Items with no charge code cannot be billed. An error message is displayed informing users to complete the item settings in Department Item. However, for partial billing and Bill All features, charging of mixed items, with and without CDM - those with CDM will be billed after exiting the error message; items without CDM will not be billed.

  5. Click the credit procedure icon to credit a procedure. This will display a new line marking
    A new line displays marking the procedure as credit.

    Only charged procedures can be credited.

    Note: Click the corresponding delete icon to delete the new line.

    Click "Credit all Procedures" link to credit all creditable procedures included in the case. This function is not allowed for non-chargeable and previously credited procedures.

  6. Click the charge item icon to charge an item. This will display a new line, adjust the quantity of the item to be charged.

    Only chargeable items show the charge icon. Chargeable or non-chargeable items are set in Configuration > Department. See MSCM/SIM/POU Administration Guide.

    Click "Charge all Items" link to charge all chargeable items included in the case. This function is not allowed for previously charged items.

  7. Click the credit item icon to credit an item.
    A new line displays, adjusting the quantity of the item to be credited.

    Only charged items can be credited.

    Note: Returning an item in the location, after the case have been billed, will not automatically be reflected during review case. The user will have to add the item if it will be credited or not. Returned items before a case is billed is automatically deducted in case review.

    Click "Credit all Items" link to charge all creditable items included in the case. This function is not allowed for previously credited items.

  8. Click Bill to proceed confirm with the billing of the case.
