Searching for charges and returns from the desktop

  1. Under Point of Use for Nursing, select Pull and Return.
  2. In the Pull and Return page, click Review and select Charges/Returns. The Search for Charges and Returns page is displayed.
  3. Select the company. The Company lists all companies that have at least one supply location that user has access to.
    Note: Status Complete, Partial and Pending are only for supply locations set to auto-replenishment or auto-stock issue processing.
  4. To filter your search criteria, specify this information:
    Charge Type

    Choose Patient Charge to charge item(s) to patient. Select Floor Charge if items are charged to the floor or the nursing unit.

    Transaction Type

    Select Pull to view records of pulled items. Select Return to view records of returned items. You can select both to display all Pull and Return records.

    Status

    Select one or more upload status type:

    • Complete – Transactions successfully uploaded to server

    • Partial – Transactions with pending par count status for some items and upload status for others

    • Pending – Transactions with pending upload status for all items

    • Manual – Transactions coming from par/stock locations that are not configured for auto-replenishment

    Transaction Period

    Specify the Start and End dates to view records specified within the specified admission period.

    Note: The default date displayed is set to current date.
    Visit Number

    Specify the visit number of the patient associated with the record(s) to review.

    Note: Click the Search button beside the Visit Number field to perform a Visit Number search.
    Note: An item can have the Pending Par Count status until the scheduler runs and item reaches the minimum order quantity set in FSM or Infor Lawson Par Location or if the item has different POU and PAR UOMs and does not reach the equivalent quantity for the PAR UOM.
  5. Click Search. The system displays a list of patient and charge/return items that fit your search criteria.
