Finding a patient from the desktop

  1. On the Patient field, click the Search button to display the Find Patient pop-up screen.
  2. Narrow down your search by specifying this information:
    Admission Date

    Specify the patient's admission date range. An approximate date range may be entered if the exact date of admission is unknown.

    Last Name

    Specify the patient's last name.

    First Name

    Specify the patient's first name.

    Patient ID

    Specify the patient's identification number.

    Date of Birth

    Specify the patient's date of birth.

  3. Click Search to display the records based on parameters.
  4. In the list, select the patient and click Add.

    The patient ID, Patient Name, Birth date, Account Number and Patient Class are populated when adding a new case.
