Scanning items into the desktop

  1. After scanning the complete information in the Enter Charge Header, click Enter Items.

    The Enter Charge Items page is displayed.

    Note: Select Find Items to perform a search of items to be pulled. The user can also use this button to manually add items.
  2. Scan the item, GTIN, or HIBC barcode label to specify a record of the item in the system.

    The Item ID is populated in its corresponding field in the Enter Charge Items page.

  3. Specify the quantity of items by scanning the barcode more than once, depending on the number of items to pull.

    The unit of measure for the selected item depends on the unit of measure configured by the administrator.

    Note: Select Clear to delete an item.
  4. Select a supply location to pull the item.

    If the supply location is a stock location, specify the bin, lot, sublot, or serial number for this item, if applicable. Also scan or specify the appropriate bin where the item is stored.

    If there are multiple bins available for an item, click (+) to add another line. You can specify the quantity, bin, lot, sub-lot or serial, if applicable, to be pulled from different bins.

  5. Click Submit. The system validates the charge and item information specified. The Charge Confirmation page is displayed.
  6. Click Done after checking the information in the Pull - Charge Confirmation page. To print the charge information, select Print.
