Different types of POU Dashboards for Department Inventory

The Point of Use for Department Inventory Dashboards include four charts and each chart has corresponding Report Viewer. The Dashboards also features a flash alert.

Inventory value per department

This is a pie chart illustrating the inventory value of each department of a selected facility or the inventory value of each location of the selected department.

A color scheme will be applied to the chart, (assign one color to one department or to one location). The title of the chart may vary depending on the selected Charts Segment Display.

At the bottom of the chart, the Total Inventory Value is shown which is the sum of the equivalent value of the QOH of items – it can be either from all departments of the selected facility or from all locations of the selected department on the date when the Dashboards is run.

Note: Depending on the set Charts Segment Display in the General Settings in POU DI Configuration, a slice in the pie chart could represent a department or a location.

Quantity on hand of consigned vs. non-consigned items

This is a graph comparing the QOH of the consigned against non-consigned items per segment. Data are generated based on the tagging of items in the FSM or Infor Lawson Item of Consignment field if "Yes" or "No", for Consigned and Non-consigned Items, respectively.

The label of the x-axis varies depending on the set chart segment display - it can either be the Department Description or the Location Description. The label of the y-axis, on the other hand, is Quantity On Hand. The QOH of consigned and non-consigned per segment are stacked into one column.

A color scheme is applied to the graph, red for "Consigned" and blue for "Non-Consigned" items.

Note: Depending on the set Charts Segment Display in the General Settings in POU DI Configuration, a column or bar could represent a department or a location.

Quantity of expired/expiring items

This is a clustered column/graph showing the number of items that have already expired and those that are for expiry within a specified time.

The x-axis of the graph is set as "Expired," "In X Weeks," "In Y Weeks," and "In Z Weeks" where X, Y and Z are variables for "For Expiry in N Weeks." The y-axis is the corresponding quantity of the expired/expiring items from either of the selected Chart Segment Display.

A color scheme is applied to this graph. If the item has expired already, the bar is filled in red. Else if near expiry in X, Y and Z weeks then bars are filled in green.

Note: The "For Expiry in N Weeks" will be determined based on the assignment of the duration in Dashboard Settings in POU DI Configuration - Settings.

Depending on the set Charts Segment Display in the General Settings in POU DI Configuration, the total count of items summed up in a column/bar could be from a department or from a location.

Through the Report Viewer of the Quantity of Expired/Expiring Items, a link is available to resolve the expired items. This link directs user to the View Count and Resolve Variance page of the View Inventory Count of the Replenishment Management module.

Critical level of items

This is the chart in the Dashboards that will measure how many items with QOH have reached or are below the critical level already. Per segment, there will be two bars to represent the two categories - QOH is equal to the Critical Level and QOH is below the Critical Level.

Note: Data in this chart will depend on the configuration for the critical level added in Item Location of the POU DI Configuration.

Depending on the set Charts Segment Display in the General Settings in POU DI Configuration, the two columns could represent the critical level for a department or for a location.

Flash alert
