Starting the application on the handheld device

  1. Go to Start > Programs > Mobile SCM.
  2. Select File > Settings > Comm. and specify these in the Server Address text box:
    • Name of the MSCM server: httpport

    Alternatively:

    • IP Address of the MSCM server:

      <IPADDRESS :httpport >

    • Name of the Lawson Server:

      <LSF:httpport>

    Note: For MSCM handheld settings:
    • If a wireless connection has been established, you do not need to mount the handheld device on the cradle.

      If the handheld device does not use a wireless connection, it should be mounted on the cradle to establish a server connection.

  3. Go to Auth. tab then specify the Public and Secret keys.
    Note: Public and Secret Keys should be the same as configured during MSCM Installation.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Select File > Settings and tap Test to test the connection to the server. If the test is successful, the handheld device is ready to use.
  6. Tap OK when the test is completed.
  7. Tap OK to accept the settings.
