Opening MSCM in Google Chrome

Add the MSCM URL in the Manage Exceptions option of Google Chrome.

Note: If you are using Chrome version 36 or up, modal pop-up may no longer work. If you do not want to downgrade your Chrome to the supported version of MSCM as written in the MSCM Installation Guide, create and run the reg edit file for the pop-up to work.

To create the file:

Note: Only users with administrator-access and registry editing rights can run the file.
  1. Copy this code: 
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

  2. Save file as <filename>.reg.

To run the reg edit file:

  1. Double-click the reg edit file.
  2. Click Yes.
  3. Click OK.
