Creating a route

  1. Select Receiving and Delivery > Delivery.
  2. Select Configuration > General.

    The Delivery Management Configuration page is displayed.

  3. Select a company in the Manage Routes window.
  4. Click Manage Routes.

    The Select Route to Edit page is displayed.

  5. Click Add New Route.
    The Add Route form is displayed. The form shows what locations are available in the company.
  6. Specify this information:
    Company
    The name of the company you selected.
    Route Name
    Specify a name for the route.
    Default Route for Company
    Indicate whether this is the default route for the company.
    Transfer Location
    Select a transfer location.
    Delivery and Receiving Route Locations
    View the delivery (or receiving) locations. This list is initially empty if you are adding a route.

    If you are editing a route, the only locations that can be removed from this list are locations that have been added in this current session, not additions that have been committed. If a location can be removed, it will have a check box to select it.

    Available Locations in Company (Delivery)
    Add the selected locations to the Route Delivery Locations list from the Available Delivery Locations list. Newly added locations will always contain a check box in the Route Delivery Locations list.
    Available Locations in Company (Receiving)
    Delivery locations that are newly assigned to the current route must be removed from their existing route. Receiving Locations that are newly assigned to the current route do not get removed from their existing route. Receiving locations that are removed from the current route must get removed from the current route in the system.
  7. Change the sequence of the route.
    1. Click the check box next the Sequence box.
    2. Change the number in the Sequence box, and change the number.
    3. Click the Change icon.
      The page refreshes with the new sequence.
  8. Click Done.
    The Add New Route confirmation page is displayed.
  9. Click OK.
    The Select Route to Edit page is displayed.
  10. Click Done.
