Replenishing items from the desktop

  1. Select Pull and Return from the Point of Use for Nursing in the left navigation bar.
  2. Click Review and select Replenishment Request.

    The Search for Replenishment Requests page is displayed.

    Note: The availability of this function depends on the Point of Use for Nursing user role assigned to you. Your user access should be assigned with "Point of Use - Desktop - View Records" role.

    Specify this information:

    Company

    Select a company. This field lists all companies that have at least one par location that user has access to.

    Location

    This field lists all par locations associated to the selected Company that are configured to process par replenishments automatically in POU Configuration.

    Note: All par locations created in FSM or Infor Lawson will be automatically tagged as POU Supply Location in MSCM.
    Item(s)

    Select specific item/s the user would want to replenish using the Find Item window.

    Adjusted Quantity

    Select check box to display Adjusted Quantity column in Review Replenishment Requests.

    Note: The availability of this function depends on the Point of Use for Nursing user role assigned to you. Your user access should be assigned with "Point of Use - Desktop - Adjust Replenishment Details" role.
    Additional Quantity

    Select the check box to display Additional Quantity column in Review Replenishment Requests.

    Note: The availability of this function depends on the Point of Use for Nursing user role assigned to you. Your user access should be assigned with "Point of Use - Desktop - Adjust Replenishment Details" role.
  3. Click Search.

    The Review Replenishment Request page is displayed.

  4. To specify replenishment information, specify this information:
    Seq

    Displays line items according to its bin sequence number in FSM or Infor Lawson Par Location.

    Item ID

    Displays Infor Item Number. Item ID is a link you can click to view replenishment details. See Viewing replenishment request details from the desktop.

    Description

    Displays Item Description.

    Personal Protective Equipment
    Display if Item is identified as PPE.
    Note:  If the item was created in FSM, the PPE label contains either a Yes or No value. The value depends on the PPE tagging of the item in FSM.

    If the item was created in Infor Lawson and the Enable PPE Flag is tagged, the PPE label displays a Yes or No value. The value depends on the PPE tagging of the item in Infor Lawson. Refer to the Mobile Supply Chain Management and POU Administration Guide for more information.

    PAR UOM

    Displays the corresponding UOM of item configured in FSM or Infor Lawson Par Location.

    Quantity on Hand

    Displays the item’s current quantity on hand in the system.

    Adjusted QOH

    Displays column only if Adjusted Quantity check box is checked in the Search for Replenishment Requests page.

    Note: Adjusted Quantity should not be more than the item’s Par Level.
    Par Level

    Displays the corresponding par level configured for the item in FSM or Infor Lawson Par Location.

    Minimum Order

    If available, displays the corresponding minimum order configured for item in FSM or Infor Lawson Par Location.

    Critical Level

    Displays critical level setup for item in POU Configuration. If none is configured, display as blank.

    Critical Level serves as a marker on when the system shall trigger a replenishment using the POU scheduler instead of the par scheduler.

    Pending Quantity

    Displays pending quantity that can be either of the following:

    • Quantity that has not hit the minimum order or critical level configured for the item

    • Quantity that has not been processed yet by the POU scheduler

    Note: Display of Decimal Values in Pending Quantity depends if:
    • The conversion value is even and is followed by a decimal equal or greater than 0.5.

    • For instance, conversion value is 2.5. It should not round up the value; therefore value should be 2.

    • The conversion value is odd and is followed by a decimal equal or greater than 0.5

      For instance, conversion value is 3.5. It should round up the value; therefore value should be 4.

    • The conversion value is either odd or even and is followed by a decimal less than 0.5.

      For instance, conversion value is 4.3. It should not round up the value; therefore value should be 4.

    Requested Quantity

    Displays quantity that has been processed already by the POU scheduler.

    Additional Quantity

    Displays column only if Additional Quantity check box is selected in the Search for Replenishment Requests page.

    Replenish Now

    Select check box to trigger replenishment immediately and to override the par scheduler.

    Note: Replenish Now only applies to stock-replenished items. Otherwise, check box is disabled.

    The availability of this function depends on the Point of Use for Nursing user role assigned to you. Your user access should be assigned with "Point of Use - Replenish Now" role.

    "Replenish Now" in the Replenishment Request processes the Pending Quantity and moves it to the Requested Quantity

  5. Click Done.

    The Pending Count Confirmation page is displayed.

    Note: Clicking Refresh will refresh page with the updated data for each line items. Clicking Cancel will return you to Configuration main page.

    Clicking Export to Excel downloads the csv file containing the replenishment requests data displayed in the screen.
