Recording return items into the touchscreen

  1. From the main menu, select Return.

    The Enter Return Header is displayed.

  2. Specify the Start and End dates when the item was pulled. Tap the calendar icon to select the dates.

    This allows the application to search for all patient charges that fall within the specified dates.

  3. Specify the patient's visit number by scanning the visit number barcode. You can tap Search to search for the patient and the assigned visit number.
    Note: If configured by your administrator, a default revenue center is pre-selected.
  4. Select a revenue center by scanning the revenue center barcode. You can tap Search to find other revenue centers that you have access to.
  5. Select a return type.
    Note: A return transaction allows you to return items of the same return type only. To return items with a different return type, a new return transaction should be created.

    The Adjust Item Quantity page is displayed.

  6. Adjust the quantity of items to return to the supply location by scanning the barcode more than once, depending on the number of items to return. You can also tap the (+) or ( -) keys to increase or decrease the count.

    For RETURN: You can also sort the records by tapping the [ALL TRANSACTIONS] button which displays all the Pulled transactions that can be returned for that patient on the specified date and [MY TRANSACTIONS] which displays all the pulled transactions for that can be returned for the patient that the user made.

    Click Next.

    The Review Returned Items page is displayed. This allows you to review the items specified before sending the information to the server.

    Note: You can also specify the item quantity to be returned using the numeric key pad by clicking the keypad button beside the quantity of every item in the list.
  7. Check the information specified and tap Submit.
