Resolving items in view inventory count from the desktop

Note: You should have the POU DI - View Inventory Count role to perform this task.
  1. Find the item to resolve.

    For more information on finding items to resolve, see Inquiring for items in view inventory count from the desktop

  2. Under the Details column, items for resolution has a corresponding resolve icon. Click the resolve icon.

    The resolution dialog box will appear.

  3. For new items, confirm if the items will be added to the location. If yes, then this will add quantity on hand to the item in the location. You may select a reason code when adding (or not adding) quantity on hand to the item in the location.
  4. For missing or expired items, confirm if the items are missing or expired. If yes, then this will deduct quantity on hand from the item in the location. You may select a reason code when deducting (or not deducting) quantity on hand from the item in the location.
  5. For items that are originally defined in another location, confirm the transfer to the current location, this will add quantity on hand to the current location and deduct quantity on hand from the original location.
