Getting ready to use the Mobile Solutions Data Batch Upload
After you complete the installation process for the Data Batch Upload, it is ready to use. You should have these knowledge and experience:
Note: The installation program creates a new Infor button in
Excel on the Home tab. Use this button to access the Data Batch Upload tool. If the button or
the MSCM Data Upload section is not displayed in the toolbar, see the Mobile Solutions
Data Batch Upload Installation Guide on how to deploy the Data Upload tool. You do
not need to make any changes to the Infor system to use the add-in. All the work of uploading
Infor data is done through the Data Upload interface.

You need to understand the relevant features in Microsoft Excel such as creating, formatting, sorting, editing, and saving Microsoft Excel files.

You must understand how the Infor system handles data and the basic structure of the Infor database.
