Adding a practitioner

  1. Select Point of Use for Department Inventory > Configuration.
  2. Select the Practitioner tab.
  3. Click the Add button. The Practitioner Management page is displayed.
  4. Specify this information:
    Company

    Select the company that you want to associate with the practitioner.

    Facility

    Select a facility you want to identify with the practitioner.

    Last Name

    Specify the last name of the practitioner.

    First Name

    Specify the first name of the practitioner.

    Employee ID

    Specify the employee ID of the practitioner.

    Note: The Employee ID is automatically created in uppercase characters.
    Active

    Based on the status of the item, set the practitioner as active by selecting the check box. If the practitioner is inactive, clear the check box.

  5. Click Save to save your changes.
  6. Click Cancel to return to the previous page.
