Creating a route

  1. Select Delivery from the Receiving and Delivery menu.
  2. Select Configuration > General.

    The Delivery Management Configuration page is displayed.

  3. Select a company in the Manage Routes window.
  4. Click Manage Routes.

    The Select Route to Edit page is displayed.

  5. Click Add New Route.

    The Add Route form is displayed. The form shows what locations are available in the company.

  6. Specify this information:
    Company

    The name of the company you selected.

    Route Name

    Specify a name for the route.

    Default Route for Company

    Specify whether this is the default route for the company.

    Transfer Location

    Select a transfer location.

    Delivery and Receiving Route Locations

    View the delivery (or receiving) locations. This list is initially empty if you are adding a route.

    If you are editing a route, the only locations that can be removed from this list are locations that have been added in this current session, not additions that have been committed. If a location can be removed, it will have a check box to select it.

    Available Locations in Company (Delivery)

    Delivery locations that are newly assigned to the current route must be removed from their existing route.

    Receiving Locations that are newly assigned to the current route do not get removed from their existing route.

    Receiving locations that are removed from the current route must get removed from the current route in the system.

  7. Change the sequence of the route.
    1. Select the check box next the Sequence box.
    2. Change the number in the Sequence box, and change the number.
    3. Click the Change icon.

      The page will refresh with the new sequence.

  8. Click Done.

    The Add New Route confirmation page is displayed.

  9. Click OK.

    The Select Route to Edit page is displayed.

  10. Click Done.
  11. Click Update.

    The Delivery Management Configuration page is displayed.

  12. Click OK.
