Printing location labels

Use this procedure to print bar code labels for locations.

  1. Select Label Management from the Administration menu.
  2. Select Locations > Print Labels on the Label Management page.

    The Search for a Location to Print Labels page is displayed.

  3. Specify this information:
    Note: You can click Search Again to return to the Search for a Location to Print Labels page.
    Company

    Select the company of the location for which you want to print labels.

    Location

    Specify the location ID of the location for which you want to print labels.

    Active Only

    Select if you only want locations with active status to be retrieved.

    Associated to Procurement

    Select the association to Procurement of the location for which you want to print labels.

    Location Activities

    Select the activities associated with the location for which you want to print labels..

  4. Click Search to display all locations that match your search criteria.

    The Select Locations to Print Labels page is displayed.

    Note: This page shows only if more than one location fits your search parameters.
  5. Select the check boxes of the location for which you want to print labels.
  6. Click Print Labels.

    A Label printer must be configured in Printer Management to be able to print labels. To add a printer, see Adding printers. To map printers to location, see Mapping printers to locations. To map a label printer to a workstation, see Mapping label printers to workstations. To map printers to users, see Mapping printers to users.

  7. On the Print Labels page, click Return to List to return to the Search Locations to Print Labels page.
