Inactivating companies

Use this procedure to inactivate companies that are no longer in use. This does not delete the company so administrators can maintain a record of a company's activities.

To inactivate companies

  1. Select Location Management from the Administration menu.
  2. Select Companies > Inactivate on the Location Management page.
  3. Specify this information:
    Company

    Select the company you want to inactivate.

    Company Description

    Specify the description of the company you want to inactivate.

    Status

    Select the activity status of the company that you want to inactivate.

    Company Association

    Select the association to Procurement of the company you want to inactivate.

  4. Click Search to display all companies that match your search criteria.

    The Select Company to Inactivate page is displayed.

    Note: This page is shown only if more than one company fits your search parameters.
  5. Click Inactivate to select the company you want to inactivate. The Inactivate Company page is displayed.
  6. Click Inactivate to inactivate the selected company. The Inactivate Company confirmation page is displayed.
