Creating sterilization loads
- Select Sterilization from the Surgical Instrument Management menu.

Select Load > Create on the Sterilization page.
The Sterilization Load Header page is displayed.

Specify this information:
- Company

Select the company where the sterilizer location is.
- Sterilizer Location

Select the location of the sterilizer that you want to use.
- Sterilizer
-
Select the sterilizer that you want to use.
- Process
-
Select the sterilization process for the sterilizer that you want to use.
- Cycle No.

Specify the cycle number this load corresponds to. The cycle number is an optional field that relates to the unique identifier that the sterilizer gives to a load.
- Comments

Specify any comments or instruction for the load.

Click Continue.
The Sterilization Load page is displayed.
- Click Edit Header if you need to change information specified on the Sterilization Load Header page.
- Select the Content tab.
- You can also tap Enter key to add assembly or batch ID in the sterilization load.

In the ASID/BATCH ID field, specify the assembly IDs or
batch IDs to include in the sterilization load. Click Add.

To remove an assembly or batch from the load, click Remove.
If an assembly you specified is associated with a different sterilization type than the type you selected for the current load, a warning window is displayed.
If the Bio-test of the assembly you specify is required, the system will prompt you to confirm if the bio-test has been included in the batch.
- Specify the ASID/Batch ID field to add.

To remove an assembly or batch from the load, click Remove.

Click Done when you have finished specifying all the
assemblies and batches that you want to include in the sterilization
load.
The Sterilization Load confirmation page is displayed.
- Click OK to return to the Sterilization main page.
