To assemble multiple trays

  1. Select Tray Assembly in the Surgical Instrument Management menu.
  2. Select Assemble Tray > Multiple Tray on the Tray Assembly page.
  3. Specify this information:
    Company

    Select the company where the technician assembles the tray.

    Assembly Location

    Select the location where the technician assembles the tray.

    Tray ID

    Specify the five-digit identification number attached to the tray that the technician assembles.

    Note: 

    You also have the option of scanning instruments using the handheld device to be included in the assembly.

  4. Click Enter to add multiple Tray IDs.
  5. Click Assemble.
  6. Specify this information:
    Hide/Show Header

    Click Hide Header to hide the tray list header information or Show Header to show the tray list information.

    Item Image

    Click the camera icon to display an image of the selected item.

    Item Detail

    Click the item number in the row of an item to view details about the selected item.

    Cancel

    Click Cancel to stop the assembly.

    Pause

    Click Pause to temporarily stop the assembly time. When clicked, the icon changes to Continue.

    Continue

    Click Continue to let the Assembly Time continue running. When clicked, the icon changes to Pause.

    Note: 

    Click Print to print the tray list to assemble the tray away from the computer screen. You can also print the tray assembly attachment.

  7. Assemble the tray as instructed on the tray list.
    Note: 

    Once an instrument has reached its usage limit, a pop-up window is displayed that will prompt you to replace or substitute the item.

  8. View item details, record exceptions, log additional information, add notes, or put the tray on hold, if needed to.   9. Click Complete when you are done assembling the tray.
    Note: 

    If the company/location is tagged as a verify assembly location, a message informing user that the transaction will be submitted for verification displays. A printer dialog messge displays, allowing users to print the tray assembly attachment. The Count Sheet preview page also displays. Another printer dialog message allows users to print the assembly sheet, without generating an assembly ID.

    If the company/location is not tagged as a verify assembly location, a printer dialog displays to allow users to print the tray assembly attachment. The Count Sheet preview page also displays. Another printer dialog appears to allow users to print the assembly sheet and assembly label.

    Assembly transactions may not be submitted for completion or verification if items in the tray are not tagged as placed in tray.

  10. Click Print to print the tray list.
  11. Click Done to return to the Tray Assembly main page.
