To send the instruments that are beyond the scheduled preventive maintenance

  1. Log in to the MSCM application.
  2. Select SIM from the Mobile SCM Solutions menu.
  3. Select Maintenance from the SIM menu.
  4. Select Preventive Maintenance tab.

    The Generate Instruments for Preventive Maintenance page displays.

  5. Specify this information.
    Item Group

    Select the Item Group.

    Company

    Select the Company.

    Instrument Source Location

    Select the Instrument Source Location.

    Item Number

    Specify the item number where the instrument/s is associated with.

  6. Select Instruments beyond Scheduled Preventive Maintenance.
  7. Click Search.

    The list of instruments that fall within the specified filters is generated.

    Note: 

    By default, all instruments are selected. Click Clear All to clear the selections.

  8. Select the check box of the instrument.
  9. Click Next.

    The Send Instruments to Maintenance page displays.

  10. Select the next activity - Preventive Maintenance or Repair.
  11. Click OK.

    The Send Instruments to Maintenance page displays.

  12. Select the maintenance location.
  13. Optionally, specify a comment for the maintenance of the instrument.
  14. Click Send.
