To activate items
- Select Item Management in the Administration menu.
 - 
        Select Items > Inactivate/Activate on the Item Management page.
        
The Search for Item to Inactivate/Activate page displays.
 - 
        Specify this information:
        
- Item Group
 - 
                
Select the item group for the item that you want to activate.
 - Status
 - 
                
Select Inactive.
 - Manufacturer Name
 - 
                
Select either SIM Manufacturers or Procurement Manufacturers to choose a manufacturer category.
Select the name of the manufacturer from the selected group for the item that you want to activate.
 - Manufacturer Nbr.
 - 
                
Specify the manufacturer number of the item that you want to activate.
 - Assoc. to Procurement
 - 
                
Select the association to Procurement for the item that you want to activate.
 - SIM Item Nbr.
 - 
                
Specify the SIM item number for the item that you want to activate.
 - Procurement Item Nbr
 - 
                
Specify the Procurement item number for the item that you want to activate.
 - Item Description
 - 
                
Specify the description of the item that you want to activate.
 - Company
 - 
                
Select the company of the item that you want to activate.
 - Instr Source Location
 - 
                
Select instrument source in the company for the item that you want to activate.
 - Instrument Nbr.
 - 
                
Specify the instrument number of the item that you want to activate.
 
 - 
        Click Search to display the items that fit your search criteria.
        
The Select Item to Inactivate/Activate page displays.
 - Select Activate check box or check boxes in the row of the item or items that you want to activate.
 - Click Activate selected items.
 - in the Confirmation: Inactivated/Activated Item(s) page, click Done to return to the Item Management page.
