To activate items

  1. Select Item Management in the Administration menu.
  2. Select Items > Inactivate/Activate on the Item Management page.

    The Search for Item to Inactivate/Activate page displays.

  3. Specify this information:
    Item Group

    Select the item group for the item that you want to activate.

    Status

    Select Inactive.

    Manufacturer Name

    Select either SIM Manufacturers or Procurement Manufacturers to choose a manufacturer category.

    Select the name of the manufacturer from the selected group for the item that you want to activate.

    Manufacturer Nbr.

    Specify the manufacturer number of the item that you want to activate.

    Assoc. to Procurement

    Select the association to Procurement for the item that you want to activate.

    SIM Item Nbr.

    Specify the SIM item number for the item that you want to activate.

    Procurement Item Nbr

    Specify the Procurement item number for the item that you want to activate.

    Item Description

    Specify the description of the item that you want to activate.

    Company

    Select the company of the item that you want to activate.

    Instr Source Location

    Select instrument source in the company for the item that you want to activate.

    Instrument Nbr.

    Specify the instrument number of the item that you want to activate.

  4. Click Search to display the items that fit your search criteria.

    The Select Item to Inactivate/Activate page displays.

  5. Select Activate check box or check boxes in the row of the item or items that you want to activate.
  6. Click Activate selected items.
  7. in the Confirmation: Inactivated/Activated Item(s) page, click Done to return to the Item Management page.
