Creating case cart picking from the OR system

You should have the SIM - Web Case Cart Picking role to perform this task.

To pick case carts with data from the operating room system

  1. Login to the MSCM application.
  2. Select SIM from the Mobile SCM Solutions main menu.
  3. Select Case Cart Picking from the SIM drop-down menu. The Search for Case Cart Picking page is displayed.
  4. Click Add. The Case Cart Picking Header page is displayed.
  5. Specify this information:
    Company

    Select the company to create the case cart for.

    Location

    Select the location where you want to create the case cart.

    Picklist Number

    Specify or select the pick list number for the case cart.

    Case ID

    Specify the patient Case ID for whom the case cart will be used on.

    Schedule Date/Time

    Specify the date and time or click the calendar icon to select the date and time when the case cart will be used.

    Patient ID

    Specify or select the ID assigned to the patient.

    Patient Name

    Specify or select the patient's first name and last name.

    Practitioner

    Specify or select the first name and last name of the practitioner who is in charge of the operation.

    Procedure Room

    Specify or select the procedure room where the operation will be held.

  6. Click Search to display the case carts that fit your search criteria.
  7. Click Create Case Cart. The Case Cart Picking Details page is displayed.
  8. In Pick List Number, click View to display the Pick List file contents imported from the OR system.
  9. Specify this information:
    Case Cart ID

    Specify the Case Cart ID that you want to create the case cart for in the Enter CCID/ASID field.

    Assembly ID

    Specify the assembly IDs to associate with the case cart listed in the Case Cart ID field and to add to the ASID list.

  10. Click Add CCID.
  11. Click Save. The Picking confirmation message is displayed.
    Note: 

    Click Delete to delete the CCID or the ASIDs.
