To add custom process parameters/tests

Custom process parameters and tests are used as the building blocks when creating custom processes. A custom process parameter is a union of a parameter name, result format, and UOM. A custom process test is a union of a test name, result format, and UOM.

  1. Select SIM Configuration in the Surgical Instrument Management menu.
  2. Select Custom Processes > Parameters/Tests in the Configuration page.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Select Create New from the Parameters/Test list box.
  5. Specify the parameter/test name.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Specify the UOM and format.
  8. Click Save.
