Inactivating companies

Use this procedure to inactivate companies that are no longer in use. This does not delete the company ,so administrators can still maintain a record of a company's activities.

To inactivate companies

  1. Select Location Management in the Administration menu.
  2. Select Companies > Inactivate on the Location Management page.

    The Search for a Company to Inactivate page is displayed.

  3. Specify this information:
    Company

    Select the company that you want to inactivate.

    Company Description

    Specify the description of the company that you want to inactivate.

    Status

    Select the activity status of the company that you want to inactivate.

    Company Association

    Select the association to Procurement of the company that you want to inactivate.

  4. Click Search to display the companies that fit your search criteria.

    The Select Company to Inactivate page is displayed.

  5. Click Inactivate next to the company that you want to inactivate.

    The Inactivate Company page is displayed.

  6. Click Inactivate to inactivate the selected company.
  7. The Inactivate Company confirmation page is displayed. Click OK to return to the Location Management page.
