To replace damaged, missing, or usage limit reached items
-
On the Tray Assembly tray list page, click the gray
exception icon in the row of the item for which you want to make an
exception.
The Report Exception page displays.
- Specify the quantity of the item affected by the exception in the Quantity field.
- Specify comments describing the exception in the Comment field.
-
Click Damaged if the item is damaged, Missing if the item is missing or Usage Limit Reached if the item has reached its usage limit.
Note:
If an instrument has already been scanned, the only instrument-level exception that can be logged is either the Damaged or Usage Limit Reached exception.
The Assembly Exception - Damaged Item, Assembly Exception - Missing Item or Assembly Exception - Usage Limit Reached window displays.
-
Click Replace.
Note:
Replaced instruments must be replaced by instruments of the same item. Users are required to scan a Replaced Instrument ID if the replaced item is an instrument-tracked item for that source location.
The Replace Damaged Instrument, Replace Missing Instrument or Replace Instrument That Exceeds Usage Limit window displays.
- Click Close to return to the Tray Assembly tray list page.
