To remove damaged, missing, or usage limit reached items

On the Tray Assembly tray list page, click the gray
exception icon in the row of the item for which you want to make an
exception.
The Report Exception page displays.
- Specify the quantity of the item affected by the exception in the Quantity field.
- Specify the comments describing the exception in the Comment field.

Click Damaged if the item is damaged or Missing if the item is missing or Usage Limit Reached if the item has reached its usage limit.
Note:
If an instrument has already been scanned, the only instrument-level exception that can be logged is the Damaged or Usage Limit Reached exception.

Click Remove on the Damaged item information, or Usage Limit Reached Information window or Report Short on the Assembly Exception - Missing Item popup
window.

Consider the following buttons.
- Pass

Click Pass to record the damaged, missing, or usage limit reached item as not replaced and to continue the tray assembly process. The count sheet reflects the missing item quantity and the system prints an exception label to reflect this change.
- Hold

Click Hold to record the damaged, missing, or usage limit reached item as not replaced and to hold the tray until the item can be replaced.
The Exception Noted window displays.
- Click Close to return to the Tray Assembly tray list page.
