Inactivating companies

Perform this procedure to inactivate companies that are no longer in use. This does not delete the company or any associated records. Administrators will still have a historical record of a company’s activities.

To inactivate companies

  1. Select Location Management in the Administration menu.
  2. Select Companies > Inactivate.

    The Search for a Company to Inactivate page appears.

  3. Consider the following fields.
    Company

    Select the company you want to inactivate.

    Company Description

    Enter the description of the company you want to inactivate.

    Status

    Select the activity status of the company that you want to inactivate.

    Company Association

    Select the association to Procurement of the company you want to inactivate.

  4. Click Search to display all companies that fit your search criteria.

    The Select Company to Inactivate page appears.

    Click Search Again to perform a new search or click Cancel to discard the changes.

  5. Click the Inactivate button next to the company you want to inactivate.

    The Inactivate Company page appears.

  6. Click the Inactivate button to inactivate the selected company.
  7. The Inactivate Company confirmation page appears. Click OK to return to the Location Management page.
