Lawson tracking number
The Lawson tracking number is specified at the time of receipt or generated by Infor Receiving and Delivery.
When receiving to a container:
-
Customers use labels pre-printed with unique Lawson tracking numbers.
-
The pre-printed label is affixed to a container.
-
For each item received and placed into the container, the user scans or specifies the Lawson tracking number from the label affixed to the container.
-
All items received into a container are to be delivered to the same location.
When receiving with no container:
-
Customers do not use pre-printed labels.
-
When specifying receipt on a handheld, the user leaves the Lawson tracking Number field blank.
-
The user specify receipts and transmits data back to the RAD server.
-
Once a receipt is successfully released and printed from PO30, data is sent from the Procurement server to the RAD server. Infor Receiving and Delivery assigns one Lawson tracking number per receipt, per delivery location.
The Infor Number field will not be available for entry if:
-
The Lawson tracking number is not displayed and not required, based on handheld Receiving configuration.
-
The PO line contains multiple requisitions (multiple source records). The Lawson tracking number field will be disabled, regardless of handheld Receiving configuration, because the Procurement system must allocate the receipt to multiple requisitions. The user can tap the field to view a message as to why the field is disabled.
