Recording charge information from the handheld

Use this procedure to enter necessary information to the Enter Charge Header using the handheld device when pulling items.

  1. In the Select Company page, select a company and tap OK. T

    he Enter Charge Header is displayed.

  2. Record the charge information.
    1. Specify a supply location by scanning the supply location barcode or you can tap the Search button to find other locations under the chosen company.

    2. Specify a revenue center by scanning the revenue center barcode or you can tap the Search button to find other revenue centers under the chosen company.

    3. Provide the patient visit number by specifying or scanning the visit number barcode.
      Note: 

      Select Floor Charge if the items will not be charged to the patient.

  3. Tap the Scan Items tab to start scanning items.
