Finding a patient from the desktop
Use this procedure to find a patient in Point of Use for Department Inventory from the desktop.
- On the Find Patient page, click Search to see the list of patients.
 - 
        Narrow down your search by specifying either one of the information in the fields.  Specify this information:
        
- Admission Date
 - 
                
Specify the patient's admission date range.
An approximate date range can be specified if the exact date of admission is unknown.
 
- Last Name
 - 
                
Specify the patient's last name.
 - First Name
 - 
                
Specify the patient's first name.
 - Patient ID
 - 
                
Specify the patient's identification number.
 - Date of Birth
 - 
                
Specify the patient's date of birth.
 
 - 
        In the list, select the patient and click Add.
        
The patient ID, Patient Name, Birth date, Account Number and Patient Class are displayed.
