Finding items from the desktop

Use this procedure to search one or more items from the desktop.

  1. After specifying the complete information in the Enter Charge Header, select Enter Items.

    The Enter Charge Items page is displayed.

  2. Select Find Items to open the Search for Items dialog box.
  3. Specify this information:
    Item ID

    Specify the item ID you want to search for.

    Note: 

    The Item ID is automatically created in uppercase characters.

    Item Description

    Specify a description of the item.

    Manufacturer Name

    Specify the name of the manufacturer of the item.

    Manufacturer Number

    Specify the assigned number of the manufacturer of the item.

    Note: 

    The Manufacturer Number is automatically created in uppercase characters.

  4. Select Search to display all the items that fit your search criteria.
  5. Choose the correct item and click OK.

    The Enter Charge Header page is displayed and the supply location listbox is populated with previously selected supply location.
